Hi,

I thought the North African stuff was generally right. One note is that the epicenter of the Morocco earthquake was in an extremely mountainous (not just rural) area. This makes relief efforts very difficult, as I'm sure the few roads there were also damaged. For comparison, Mt Whitney (14,505 ft) is the highest peak in the lower 48 United States, while Mt Toubkal near the epicenter is 13,671 ft.

I wonder if they accepted Algeria's offer to help. This could be extremely helpful, as it allows supplies to flow in from the east, to Ouarzazate and then up into the mountains from that side.

I've been to the area three times, and it's tough to see the pictures when you know exactly what it used to look like.
