Yes, great interview. Derek's penultimate question about discourse and Lu's answer were very helpful for thinking about mainstream media and even some literary representations of China.
Not the best article on the debt issue, but the photos of the new things are pretty accurate. There's still plenty of the city that looks like the "before" photos, though. I went there about 4 years ago.
