Listen now (41 min) | Danny and Derek speak with Rob Karl, professor of arts and humanities at Minerva University, about the history of Colombia. They discuss wars between liberals and conservatives in the 19th and 20th centuries, the Colombian political structure, the Colombian state, and more, in this first episode of a series.
Can someone explain the philosophy behind the release schedule of these series? At least to me, it’s entirely unintuitive and my podcast apps make it difficult to ever get through a single one. I feel like I’m reading seven different books at once.
Woa woa. Towards the end- the State Department refused to sell napalm to a government trying to suppress a popular movement? Are we sure about this, or were our napalm supplies just committed to another greater conflict at the time?

Howdy. Any way to get this as download option? Big interest in this topic, so I don't want to miss it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
This episode is gold. I knew next to nothing about Columbian history. Kinda glossed over Teddy Roosevelt and Panama.
