On the topic of Masterclasses, gotta say that during the pandemic and my own health-related need for self-isolation I really despised those uberrich f*cks hawking their masterclasses at a time when the whole globe was in a tight situation. Out trying to add to their millions when they should have been doing it for free. Guess they didn't want to let a good crisis go to waste. The ads for them popping up online became such a parade of non-public spirited leeches.
The hubris that The Lever is the only left of center journalism is a little galling. Sorry. It demeans a lot of independent and local journalists.
